I live alone
I live at home
I live in constant rotation
From station to station
I walk back and forth

From contentment to tension
From art to pension
I wonder -
Which mortal blunder
Shall I commit?

Don't worry 'bout your money, it don't last forever
Have some fun today - get yourself together
Don't worry 'bout your money; little pieces of paper
Don't let them become
Your lifetime savior

I walk a street
Clean and neat
Free of darkness and fear
I hide them in here
In the words I sing

On the screens
I see dreams
Of old men in power
People who cower
At their ev'ry word

Don't worry 'bout your money, it don't last forever
Have some fun today - get yourself together
Don't worry 'bout your money; little pieces of paper
Don't let them become
Your lifetime savior
